ORIGINAL MUSIC ON NBC'S "MAKING IT"

I’m happy to report that a piece of music I composed appears in a recent episode of the NBC show “Making It”, co-hosted by executive producer Amy Poehler.

On this episode, “Wreathy Street”, the contestants compete to craft-- as the title suggests-- decorative wreaths. I think it was clear that it would be unacceptable to exclude music by yours truly, the crown prince of decorative wreath craft.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM SQUAWK PRODUCTIONS AND JUNIOR BIRDMAN AUDIO!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I teamed up with the good people at Squawk Productions to create this spooktacular greeting, dedicated to all you creatives out there who feel the pressure of… The Deadline. Custom music, sound edit, mix, and even voiceover performance (as well as the voices of the laughing ghouls, and the hissing snake) by Mike Hallenbeck at Junior Birdman Audio.

“Deadline” was born when I had lunch with animator Sam Thompson (half of Squawk) who I’d recently collaborated with on a project, but never met. The conversation turned to our common love of horror movies, and we decided it’d be fun to work together on something spooky sometime. We decided to do a Halloween-themed greeting aimed at our fellow creatives. Sam thought it’d be fun to equate the pressure of work-related anxiety with the scariness of Halloween, and “Deadline” was born.

"CLEAN CUT" ON DUST

The little rogue Roomba just keeps on chuggin’! The comedy-horror short “Clean Cut”, directed by Andrew Hunt, featuring my sound design and original music as well as the work of a bunch of other cool kids like Ben Enke, Josh Stifter and Jeremy Wanek, is now available on DUST.

And what, one could be forgiven for asking, is DUST? Well, “DUST,” quoth DUST, “is the first multi-platform destination for binge watchable sci-fi. We feature science fiction short films and other content from emerging filmmakers with stunning visual effects, captivating plots and complex character explorations. Robots, aliens, space exploration, technology, and human experience are all a part of DUST.” So that’s what DUST is. OK?
