Two layers of some recent Foley work.
The task was to create the sound of a mouse scampering around in a glass jar. These two videos are performances of separate layers I had in mind-- tapping a glass jar with a light wooden stir stick to represent claws against the glass…
…and manipulation of a paper towel for fur movement.
Completely absurd at full volume, but useful when mixed in right on the verge of perception.

I was honored to edit music and VO, design sound and mix for the video component of The One Forum conference in 2019— hosted by Be The Match, a non-profit organization operated by the National Marrow Donor Program and dedicated to helping patients obtain life-saving transplants.
The video below, narrated by LeVar Burton, launched Day 2 of the conference.
I’m really happy with the mix on the above video, and I think it’s a lovely piece overall, so I thought I’d share it first. But he Day One kickoff video below, also voiced by LeVarBurton, definitely has more sound design treats:
From what I hear the videos were well-received, and the conference was a smashing success. Grateful to have been a part of it.

It was a pleasure to mix a recent web video for Made To Impact, “a group of business leaders rethinking employee benefits as a way to maximize impact on a triple bottom line of business, employees, and communities.” See/ hear the video at madetoimpact.com.
